Update from NAIT - 25% of goal already reached!

Bonjour to all the Shinerama lovers!

Here is an update on the 2010 NAIT Shinerama campaign so far:

In the last few weeks I have sent out all of our NAIT Student Association VIP card sponsorship packages. I have been attending meetings and cashing cheques from all the major bars in Edmonton! Thus far I have raised $5,300!! Pretty exciting and I am not even done getting sponsors AND haven’t even started selling the cards! We also are hosting a Shinerama Climb for Shine Night on July 18th where people come out and rock climb for a night; this is projected to raise $500. Then on August 7th we are hosting the first annual Shinerama Fun Run; which is projected to make $2000!!

As the summer continues, I am getting very excited about the campaign. Once we start selling the VIP cards to students, the big money will start to roll in! I hope to meet my goal of $20,000 and am excited to see what the year brings! I’m 25% there already and there is no slowing down in sight!
